That's great. The language I'm thinking is NOT appropriate for FR.

Any indication yet of when the vote will happen?I have not heard any and Lott just said he hopes that there won't be a filibuster so there must still be some talk of that floating around.

THere was NO VOTE. It was agreed to by unanimous consent request.

In other words, ANY SINGLE ONE of the democrat senators could have put a stop to the bill, simply by calling Harry Reid and telling him to object to the unanimous consent request. There was no chance they could drag all the senators back to have a 2-week debate on the bill.

So when a democrat senator argues about how evil the Terri Act was, remember that they did nothing to stop that "evil".

There are only two reasons I can think of for that:

1) They had no idea at the time which way to vote, because they hadn't had time to do polling, so they let it go.
2) They wanted to let it happen so they could use it as a political campaign issue.

IN any case, every liberal who thought the government intervention was WRONG should be upset at their democrat senators who failed to step up with a simple act of objecting.

I know exactly how depressed the DUmmies must be. That's the way I felt when slick willie was elected and I had a young son in the military.

My every fear was realized.

He caused endless harm to the military, left us vulnerable to chinese communist attack in exchange for campaign dollars, and used and abused America with no regard for our security, foreign or domestic.

The DUmmies don't realize it, but their lives will be improved as a result of the election of George W Bush.

Joe says NO! to Alito. Too many doubts about his political philosophy, but gives the judge his props for
his character, etc.

"Bush isn't protecting you!"

Who defeated the Patriot Act? Who opposes NSA wiretaps on people with Al Qaeda connections? Who wants to pull out of Iraq? Which party is responsible for the Gorelick Wall?
