Bingaman says that Alito will move the court in what he believes is the wrong direction.

Senator, YOU do not get to make that choice. That's what elections are for. YOU LOST THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH.

Yes, I will make all the handicapped crawl up the Supreme Court steps to WORSHIP ME AND GEORGE BUSH (insert evil laugh here)

Kerry will get blown out of the water if he tries to filibuster, and unlike Vietnam he won't get an undeserved Purple Heart for it.

Bingaman wants checks and balances (as long as the Dems in congress get to keep their hands pushing down on the liberal side of the judicial scales, I suppose.)

Short speech. Is he embarrassed to be voting no?

Where did Tom stand when his fellow dems were calling for Terri's murder

If I remember right he stood with those Republicans supporting further judicial review. I don't care for Harkin but he seems consistent when it comes to the rights of the disabled.

Of course, these would be tolerated if each were accompanied by a pig statue on the same property. In memory of the Senator.

LOL!

"Asked if she had advocated better benefits while serving as a board member with Arkansas-based Wal-Mart from 1986 to 1991, Clinton replied, "Well, you know, I, that was a long time ago ... have to remember," adding that "obviously I believe every company should" contribute to benefit plans."

Hillary seems to not be able to remember anything. Not sure if this is the type of person I want as my President.
