I was flipping through the channels and caught the end of live segment on CNN Headline news where a large woman with a moustach was screaming and lunged toward the reporter.
They immediately cut to commercial.
Did anyone else catch that?

You may be right about her having been offered more, but after reading what txsleuth said about her making a comment on Tony Snow's show that she was glad to hear about deaths in Iraq because it would play into the dems hand, not sure they'd want to take a gamble!!

I can't imagine either Alexander or Stevens voting "no". If they're unannounced it's likely only because they've been working on other business and haven't had time to make an official announcement.

I heard Rush mention Allen was taunting the dems to filibuster.
I miss all the good stuff....
To: Cboldt
Did Frist or anyone ask for a cloture vote yet??
Because if they haven't...these dems will be back again and again...
and they WANT this to be a "problem" for Bush and his SOTU speech..
Uh-oh, BYRD coming up?

Liar, liar Turban on fire. Too bad he has sunk so low. I wonder if more Dems will leave the party, like I did, when they realize their politicians will lie at the drop of a hat turban.

was there even any talk of there being a cloture vote today? I thought not.
To: Primetimedonna
Well....I have never, and will never forgive her for the above mentioned incident..
It just solidified my opinion way back then...that the dems care more about winning elections than winning the war...and if they have to "use" the deaths of our troops to make a political point...then they are in heaven!
To: oceanview
from some threads yesterday, Lamar Alexander and Ted Stevens were still not on record - have either of them spoken today? No. Stevens not on record, and I don't recall hearing Lamar talk - have had C-SPAN2 on and been listening to it since this morning. Most of the speeches have been lengthy.

Uh-oh, BYRD coming up?Is it wrong that I am looking forward to Byrd?
It's like when the stoner kid in class gets up and says completely crazy things until the teacher stops him.

Byrd's up.
It's all Alito's fault that the coal miners died.
(Although George and Karl probably approved it.)
