-Won Avalon and 2 other Atlantic Canada ridings. Which ones? Don't know. Paul Martin's Liberal government isn't saying on their website.
-IMO, Kings-Hants is a stretch. The other 2 are likely in New Brunswick, which was more Conservative-friendly according to the polls.
-It sounds like the Atlantic Canada results are slightly better than the poll average - but that was also true in 2004.

"If those numbers hold (a twelve point swing), we're going to end up with a Conservative minority - but a real mess. A strong possibility that the combined Liberal-NDP seat total will exceed the Conservative total."
Yep, because the Liberals will reach over to the NDP to prevent Conservative government...unless the Conservatives reach out to...the BLOC! LOL!

I just hope that some of these real radical idiots start paying attention to what is going on in Venezuela. Perfect opportunity for them to see what happens when their socialist, anti-capitalist BS rhetoric is put into practice. The outcome is NOT 'the better good of society'. Though the obvious is often lost in the mystic fairy-land that is the liberal mind!

I can get on the CPAC website. But I doubt they'll be giving results online until 10PM EST.

I haven't seen anything, but I haven't been watching closely either. I'll be keeping tabs on this thread through the evening.

In a way it isn't. If someone in B.C. hears the wrong message, they may not go and vote. It's just like saying the GOP won in CA 3 hours before voting time ends and then the people who were going to go out and vote don't go. They can't call it BEFORE everyone votes, that puts some other people right off the track. I'd go anyway but I see the reasoning.

The majority of births in France are Muslim.
No one has any data on how many births in France are to Muslims, because the country keeps no records on religion or national origin. The best estimate now is that there are, I think, 6 million Muslims in a country of about 60 million. Muslims have larger families than Christians and there are fewer old Muslims, but not enough to take their numbers up to 50 million in the next 20-30 years, which is what it would take for them to become a majority.

Something's close and flipping back and forth. Likely something in New Brunswick. I'd guess Tobique-Mactaquac.

I didn't draw a prediction. I was just wondering what happens if it is a minority govt, and how long it will stay.

(I hope I'm not spoiling too much by asking that) Any spoiling will bounce off Conservative Teflon tonight.

Think Andre Arthur would join the CPC?
I don't know. That's something a Canadian would be better asking. It's not clear WHY he ran as an independent instead of as a Tory.
