I just received a phone call from Kristinn!!
The DC Chapter of Protest Warriors obtained a permit for Code Pinks side of the street today after the Pinkos forgot to renew their permit. The blood dancers tried to stick it out for about 20-25 minutes before they tucked tail and retreated a block away to the closed entrance. Freepers and Protest Warriors now have all four corners outside the main entrance to WRAMC!

The DC Chapter will appreciate the help, and so will the men and women in WRAMC ... and their families, who are disturbed by the anti-war protesters.

Did that for a few years in my younger days. Might be fun to relive those good times.

Concrete, do you have a summer home in Santa Monica? :-D
To the editor:
Am I the only one whos bugged by these fat, aging yuppies on these $30,000 Harleys with superloud exhausts blasting up and down our streets, destroying conversatons as they try to prove a manhood they apparently never had?
Where are the real Hells Angels now that we need them to straighten these wimps out since the Santa Monica cops arent doing it?

Just a reminder, folks... Code Pink has not changed their webpage to let their comrades know that they no longer hold a permit for the corner of Elder Street and Georgia Avenue. They have added other info to their site since last week, but they have apparently purposely kept up the invalid info on their WRAMC protest location. Now, why would they leave up invalid information? Looks to me like they want to encourage their peeps to cause a confrontation with the good guys who will be on those corners.

Oh yeah... one more thing, CB.
The DAWN-DC pink ball-less boyz will probably be back tonight.
They had their potzenpans march through DC's streets last night, rather than compete with Gael and Allison's Friday night blood dances.
That means that Eric, Matthew and Princess will probably be there tonight. And maybe even my stalker boy will be there, too.

Sunset Grill is too small - we'll need an overflow venue with the live feed.
Hmmm ... RFK Stadium?

Got a better idea...The Meadowlands during the Army-Navy game. Or better yet, they should play the Army-Navy game in Baghdad so our troops can be there... Ok, I'm getting nuts.

The video link that BillF posted is no longer valid (Putfile had chopped off the end of the video), so I reloaded the video in two different sizes...
The Good Guys Win One (25 meg file)
and
Same video as above, compressed to 12 megs)
You can choose to enlarge the viewing window (look in the lower left corner, to choose screen size), which I recommend so you can see the lefties sour faces as compared to our happy ones.
Also, I only captioned at the beginning. I figured you guys could tell by the bright faces and nice signs who the good guys are, and the bad guys being the ones with sour faces, yawns and sighs and the "dark mood." My first attempt at movie-making.
I'll keep my day job.
:-)
P.S. Still waiting for the video to be "verified" by Google.

I'm planning on coming tonight. Where is it convenient to park? I've only lived in DC for 2 months now, and this is the first time I've been able to come out for this, so I'm not at all familiar with the neighborhood around WRAMC. (I'm heading over from Georgetown.)

Street parking is available, on Georgia Avenue and on the side streets - on the EAST side of Georgia Avenue.
Well, now that The Good Guys have a permit for the WEST side of Georgia/Elder, you can probably safely park on Georgia southbound, too.
