I think they have witnesses today and tomorrow. I'm not sure when the committee vote is supposed to be.Thanks. I'm sure Specter will bend over backwards (or is it forwards in his case) to accommodate the Dims on the committee.

I was annoyed with that. What's the point of being the majority party if we're not going to take advantage of having the MAJORITY?

Maybe not but they will try to link these people as either cranks that have personal agendas that are "out of the mainstream" (Demspeak for "in the majority") or somehow as relations.
And will they ever try to find out if Alito or anyone in government suggested that they testify? I really think that this is possible

Not a bad idea. Equal time will only demonstrate how loony the opposition has become.

Why is fatso there? Did he get stuck in his chair or did he forget his flask and they started while he was looking?

Exactly my point. Specter just finished saying that prior majority parties used 18/12 witnesses, the majority having the larger number. I can't stand him sometimes.

My thoughts exactly...!!
At least they didn't get that one guy that they wanted.
I forgot his name, but he wrote an article for the CAP newsletter.

ABA guy testifying about Alito and a second ago, hardly any members were there. They should be required to be there for every bit of testimony.
