Right, so this is why foot dragging and stonewalling is so important to them. Anything that they can do to delay this enough so that it won't come up until after the elections, with their hopes that the Senate would either turnover or at least the majority would lessen.

Or the Democrat Senators might think "Where else is the Left going to go but to us"? The Left is far too politically rabid to stay home on election day. There whole sense of self depends on "getting" the Conservatives. No matter what the Dems do, the base will be there for them. They hate us too much to stay home on election day

I think they have witnesses today and tomorrow. I'm not sure when the committee vote is supposed to be.

I remember a plane ride with Teddy and his crew and the press on board during his limp presidential campaign. The senator was bombed and acting like a fool. Even the press was aghast (although they were probably as loaded as he was). They reported it. Kennedy may have been the reason Carter decided to run in the first place. According to an account I read Carter decided to run after seeing the personal behavior, including drunkenness of some of the proclaimed favorites.

Erwin Chemerinskys' only asset is his amazing ability to simultaneously look two people straight in the eye.HA!
Erwin Chemerinsky is what I would definitively call a "cockeyed liberal".

It's still his fault.

Judge Alito is not only a brilliant man...he's a sweet, kind, thoughtful, wonderful American. What's inside radiates on the outside of him.
THANK YOU MR PRESIDENT 41 & 43 FOR PICKING THIS MAN!!!
