The perpendicular lines in Biden's forehead also look like devil horns. Especially with that smarmy smile.

Thanks for that link on Schumer, Mo1. It does say that he received a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. It doesn't say whether he took and passed the Bar exam though. He went straight from law school into politics and as we know too well, he has been there ever since.

Preview of Hearing Today
[Ed Whelan 01/11 08:29 AM] In light of the widespread media consensus that Democrats were remarkably ineffective yesterday and the left-wing groups' dissatisfaction with their performance, expect them to get really nasty and aggressive today.

The dems are doomed to failure today, IMO, no matter how vicious they are because Judge Alito has proved himself to be unflappable. LOL

Maybe I missed something, but the most important SJC issue I believe is Kelo vs New London, yet I haven't heard a word about it in the hearings. All I hear about is abortion and affirmative action. And, as a white male it sickened me to hear Senator Leahy pine about how he wished for a "diversity pick". It's pathetic that the religious right, the pro-abortion feminists and the race pimps are a higher priority than the real people issues like Kelo. Doubly ironic because Kelo is a woman.

Senator Cornyn was just on Fox, and said the democrats would use today to "mischaracterize" Judge Alito's background and record. The Republican members will correct those statements, so that people can get a "balanced view and make up their own minds."
I think what he was saying is that the Rats are going to lie, and the Republicans are going to call them on it. LOL!

The Republicans are prepared, thank heavens.

Good idea.Is that a surrender flag on his swim suit? It looks a lot like a "diver down" flag, but it is the wrong colors. Maybe in those colors it means "automobile with passenger trapped inside down".

Does anyone now disagree with the conservatives who pushed hard to get Harriet Miers withdrawn?

I need to get some stuff done and run an errand. I will join you all at about 10:30. Take good notes!
