LOL -- look at the budget! They can't count, and we expect them to be able to tell time? LOL!

I think he said 4:20. It's the mid-afternoon break.
BTW, I think that Alito's last answer regarding policy perspectives was brilliant. He didn't have to answer, but he clarified the role of judges vs. elected officials.
Bravo for him.

Wllace asked Brit, "So what did we learn today?"
Brits response, "Not much."

This is a HOOT- it turns out the articles written in "Prospect" (magazine published by CAP) ...were like any mag- are accompanied by a disclaimer.."these articles are not necessarily the opinion of the publishers or editors" etc...

It was hilarious earlier when it was brought up that Teddy, in the old days, always had an aide whispering points and questions to ask in his ear. Alcohol slows the brain, huh.

Thanks a million for this, Millagro. I was watching the Alito confirmation hearings on C-SPAN, but had to do something else when this whole process was going on. Yet again, these LIVE FR threads demonstrate their indispensability!

LOL! Hard to think of Brit learning much anyway -- he is very well informed to begin with.
