Thank God Spector got healthy! Thank God he grew some balls along with that new hair! Kennedy has been smacked down good by Spector. I do hope the coverage of this exchange in the MSM bears even a small resemblance to what actually happened.

Specter was saving face, IMHO, he couldn't look like an impotent chairman. Therefore, it had no choice but to slap him down.

He wants it in the record what Specter's staff said to Ted's letter. (calling Specter a liar?)

I think that they were already on board to do whatever it takes to sink the nomination. I also think that they listen to the MSM to make sure that they understand that they are not looking like idiots (esp after the Roberts hearings -- they looked really stupid even to liberals)

I find it strange it was after the questioning about the gay/AIDs magazine. What is he up to? Does he know?

Yes, lunch break, but I had a feeling something else was going on. Kennedy's request that staffer letter exchange be included in the record confirmed it.
