He is in command of the facts and is the intellectual superior of every Senator there. With some exceptions. Kyle and Cornyn are very impressive.

Agreed and experience. The story I told was of someone who was a good person and had things that were good for the job, but didn't have applicable experience. :-)

I feel the same way....
I have gotten really angry with him lately...but, he does some really interesting things in these hearings...he comes at the questioning from some unique angles.
NOW, if we could just keep him away from MCCain, he might be alright.

Kyl reminds me of a corporate-type guy. Very polished, professional.
To: OXENinFLA
Kyl is doing a really good job now. I think he had a bit of time to compose a few things during the break. The judge is doing a good job too. Another thing is that the questions and answers aren't over-powered by "personality and attitude" between the Republicans and Alito.

LOL. Yes, McCain is like a nasty bacterial infection.
Now he's undoing the criticism re: his dissent in Rybar.
Which attack dog is up next, Feinstein?
To: Txsleuth
if we could just keep him away from MCCain, he might be alright.Joined at the hip, they are. Graham, I think, really believes McCain will get the nomination and he will be the choice for VP, so he's proving his loyalty.
