Good point. But her offer to stay on until another judge was confirmed gave dems the excuse to prolong the process, so she was really thinking of her dem friends more than her husband imo.
Who's up after the break? I think the Pubbie to hear today is Lindsay Graham..he's really called the Dems aon their bluff to filabuster...
Did you get an explanation as to why it was pulled?
I thought I heard chickens clucking on my TV during the break where they showed people standing around talking. Creepy.
Alioto was the name of the mayor of San Francisco in the late '60s. Democrat.
Lindsey Graham up.
You people are entertaining. Get some real chuckles with the comments.
Graham coming up in a minute.
Thanks.
RR break and time for a laugh: "The word 'politics' is derived from the word 'poly', meaning many, and the word 'ticks', meaning blood sucking parasites."
Well you can fuss about Sessions' language all you want - didn't hear it. But I'll take my Senator Sessions over your Senators any day of the week. :-)
Where is everybody? No other senators are there except Specter.
Damn I'm good ran to the gas station and back got back before Goober started talking.
That should have been titled "A Corpse-Eye View of Pucha Pond."
Graham asking what a "mainstream conservative" is. Good stuff.
I think they just make sure they're in the room for their own statements or questions.
I liked Philo Kvetch too... my favorites were White Fang and the guy who was always knocking at the door. Oh, and Pookie!
Lindsey is in his ah-shucks-folksy-old-boy mode, I see.
Well, that was in the proofs, I wonder if they've edited that part out...
Kennedy couldn't even READ a children's book, let alone write one. Unless it's a dog's-eye look at the bars of Washington, Miami, Connecticut and Cape Cod.
I like Goober when he's like this, and away from John McPain.
