he ran for US Senate here in GA- against Isakson...
I got to meet him on the caompaign trail- I was a Campaign Manager for a man that ran for State House of Rep's...
When I met him- I shook his hand and said "Is your wife here?"
He continued to shake my hand, but backed his body up a bit (he moves in close and sincere when he meets and greets you), he had a semi-confused look and said, "no."
I said, "GOOD! 'Cause I think I'm IN LOVE WITH YOU!"
He rolled laughing! LOL! He was so sweet- he knew I was just being funny but sincere in my appreciation for him...
He hugged me and said thank you!
He is such a breath of FRESH AIR! He has such integrity!
you know HE did the promo for NITE OF HOPE- they played it on WGKA..... and he did it for free- and refuses to take a receipt from us for his services to use as a tax write-off..!!!!

By the way, I do good just to follow local politics. I don't know much about other states except where I was brought up. However, the Congress critters from other states have been getting my attention lately.....not attention that they'd really want, I might add.
