Up late I was surfing the channels and came upon Penn & Teller's Showtime program "Bulls*#@!" as they say...
I have never been a big fan of Penn nor Teller, but they had the Second Amendment and were discussing it.
Well, you could have slapped me to 4th Street!
Penn & Teller were for the Second Amendment! And they did one of the best jobs I've ever seen of pulling the teeth from that famous liberal chant: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state" means only the state has the right to bear arms in a militia!

That means we pack heat to keep the government in line!
Well, if any other Freepers saw it, were you as amazed as I am?
BTW Jackie Mason was on and had the best line: "Anyone for Gun Control is a freaking moron!" As they say on Battlestar Galactica, that is...
Penn Gillette is a member of the Libertarian Party.
It's very hard to box those guys in as liberals or conservative....i will say this...they do at least THINK about their positions.....great TV...love BullS%$#
P & T are essentially Libertarian, so staunch support for the Second Amendment is not suprising.
They also did a show about political correctness in the education system, which briefly featured an interview with Noam Chomsky...
As much I detest Penn & Teller, they get it. Jackie Mason was also right on.
The short one doesn't speak right?
Then again, maybe it was a side effect of my cold...
My bet is on the two sixpacks dose he took to fight the fever...
I saw them do a show on 'self-help' crap... it was hilarious
Teller doesn't speak during their acts. And he's not short, it's just that Penn is exceedingly tall.
Au contraire,... when the short one doesn't speak, he sometimes speaks most rightly..;^)
They've always been libertarians and atheists, but never liberals. Despite many disagreements I have with them, their show has always been good at exposing envirowhackos, PETA freaks, and junk science pushers.
Penn & Teller are like real world counterparts to South Park characters. Irreverent libertarian views. Much in common with economic conservatives. However, their views on many moral/religious issues will tick off social conservatives.
What network or cable carries Penn and Teller? I may drop in and see them.

Showtime.
Showtime
I was watching Larry the Cable Guy last night Get R - Done. He brought up the issue of leftists saying, guns kill people: Saying that guns kill people is like saying that pencils cause misspellings. Next time I misspell a word, Ill blame my pencil.
Of course, he is one of the Great Rednecks of Our Time.
