TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday the Holocaust was a myth, reiterating a view that has caused international uproar and drawn a rebuke from the U.N. Security Council.
"They have fabricated a legend under the name 'Massacre of the Jews', and they hold it higher than God himself, religion itself and the prophets themselves," he told a crowd in the southeastern city of Zahedan.
His speech was broadcast live on state television.
Ahmadinejad accused the Israeli government and its allies of hypocrisy and repeated remarks that Israel should be moved from "dear Palestine" to Europe, America or Canada.
"If your civilization consists of unjust acts, oppression and poverty for the majority of the globe to provide your own people welfare, then we shout at the top of our voices that we hate your frail civilization," he said, to rapturous cries of "God is Greatest" from the crowd.

This is one proclamation that these people want to believe that has a better than average chance to cause the first nuclear-type war. I say "type", because personally I think the USA has weapons much more interesting and devastating than nuclear weapons.
But these people actually convincing themselves that our civilization is unjust and oppressive gives them (the false and poorly based) direction and impetus to try to remove us from what they want to believe is their world.
In my opinion, the Muslim world has a few serious problems ahead in the next years.
He may get his wish.
Just imagine this idiot with nuclear weapons.
It is amazing it took this much for liberals to maybe begin to see the light. However I am sure if there is enough outrage, he will appologize and liberals will forgive him.

Ahmadinejad off the deep end: "I say accomplishment of a world without America and Israel is both possible and feasible".
It hasn't been widely reported, but Ahmadinejad called not only for the destruction of Israel, but of America as well. From Asia Times.
Addressing a conference in Tehran on Wednesday, entitled "The World Without Zionism", Ahmadinejad said, "To those who doubt, to those who ask is it possible, or those who do not believe, I say accomplishment of a world without America and Israel is both possible and feasible."
To a cheering audience that at several points erupted with chants of "death to Israel, death to America, death to England", Ahmadinejad continued, "Once, his eminency Imam [Ruhollah] Khomeini - leader of the 1979 Islamic revolution], stated that the illegal regime of the Pahlavis must go, and it happened. Then he said the Soviet empire would disappear, and it happened. He also said that this evil man Saddam [Hussein] must be punished, and we see that he is under trial in his country. His eminency also said that the occupation regime of Qods [Jerusalem, or Israel] must be wiped off from the map of the world, and with the help of the Almighty, we shall soon experience a world without America and Zionism, notwithstanding those who doubt."
;-)
"An alarming fellow, this Ahmadinejad."
OPINION: Yes. He does seem to have an
extreme attitude problem. If his actions
match his words; I do believe he will be
very, very sorry.
Only time will tell.
Liberals have seen the light? Do you actually have evidence of this?
As Mark Steyn writes, there's not a lot of "diplomatic nuance" in what this nasty dingbat says.
I'm thinking that these fellows are building up to using a brand new nuke on Israel.
Our good friend and ally - Russia. (sarc.)
I'm immensely proud to see England in this list
