Kidnappers Threaten to Kill Iraq Activists

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Al-Jazeera television broadcast a videotape Friday in which kidnappers of four Christian peace activists threatened to kill their hostages unless all prisoners in U.S. and Iraqi detention centers are released. The kidnappers gave the two governments until Dec. 8 to meet their demands, Al-Jazeera quoted a statement delivered with the tape as saying.
The tape showed what the broadcaster said were two Canadian hostages. An American and a Briton are also being held. All four appeared frightened.
The Canadians were shown eating from plates of what appeared to be Arabic sweets. In a second clip, the British and American hostages were shown to talking to the camera but no audio was transmitted.
The two were calling on the U.S. and British governments to withdraw from Iraq, Al-Jazeera reported, quoting a statement from the kidnappers, who earlier identified themselves as the Swords of Righteousness Brigade
Amen....but when we are talking about peacniks and muslims, all bets are out the window.
Here's to praying for the best, and expecting the worst, however I believe as others do that this is a publicity stunt...(or maybe a ROVIAN/CIA plot to see which major Democrat Donors are sending money to terrorists)
The silence of the "moderate muslims" is deafening.
It is for this reason I do not shed any tears when I see muslims slaughtering muslims. The only thing we can hope for in a case like this is that they use sharp knives....and do not let the victims suffer for 30+ seconds like they did to that poor Thai guy. That was by far the most horrendous "execution" I have ever seen.
I've looked long and hard and seeing any instances where muslims do anything to help mankind in the slightest way escapes me.
I do not feel that saving even one muslim from Saddam or any other perversion they call a leader is worth one drop of American blood, or one crocodile tear. Let them all rot.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It doesn't escape me how truly pathetic it is. More than likely it isn't AQ doing the ransoming or "hostaging", either. Local thugs. Guess the peace activists didn't count on *that* happening to them.

Like an endangered snail-darter. Threadfin shad populations have been on a steady decline, likely due to global warming. The schools of shad in Texoma alone have dwindled to mere billions.

I don't believe they will be harmed. Has anyone considered that this is a stunt cooked up between the peace activists and the murdering Neanderthals who claim to be holding them? In any case, no one should be negotiating with them, and if they really were kidnapped, then God have mercy on their souls.
Did anyone ever really proved that the Italian commie who was "kidnapped" last year really was in danger?
Does it have to be repeated by them again?
These criminals need to be arrested by the police, read them their rights, and given lawyers to prepare them for a trial. This is a criminal act, not an act of war..../sarc
