For about 20 minutes Tuesday, the MacKenzie family met privately with President Bush as he offered sympathy and listened to stories about Pfc. Tyler MacKenzie, a 20-year-old solider killed in Iraq earlier this month by a roadside bomb.
"We cried, and I had to pull out some Kleenex and give it to everyone else," Tyler's grandmother Mary MacKenzie said.
"I had to give some to the president, too, because he didn't have any."
Both David and Julie MacKenzie, along with grandparents Emmett and Mary MacKenzie, saw Bush speak at the Brown Palace Hotel before the Secret Service moved them to a quiet room to meet with the president.
Emmett MacKenzie, a 75-year-old Korean War veteran, said Bush reassured them that there would be no pullout of troops until Iraqis could provide their own security.
"He said we wouldn't quit, and we told him we didn't want to quit until the job was done," Emmett MacKenzie said.
"We want to continue, and we're behind him 100 percent."
Some tear up for the camera, some tear up in spite of the camera. Our guy is the latter. Tears of determination to see a job through. Trust me, those tears should strike fear into the hearts of our enemies.

Just for the LOVE of it...

Question: When will you ever see this Quote in the National Media?
Answer....Never.
Jesus was not president. His Kingdom is not of this world.
Jesus wept, and Our president can weep too. His tears are real. unlike Clintons fake tears for Murdered crony Ron Brown.
Do you think Hillary could work up a tear for any Troops?
Perhaps You prefer her cold Heart in the Whitehouse?
Moderates like you make me weap.
Nothing wrong with W. crying. You are wrong and entitled to your opinion. And in this case that opinion is worth very little.
Thank you President Bush for your determination and resolve.
Thank you for reminding us of what this thread is really about.
I'd be much more concerned about a person who was emotionally unmoved by such an event.
That is (IMNSHO) ridiculous
this President has been criticized for uncaring that 2000+ good men and women have died and then criticized that he feels sorrow, at least his sorrow is genuine and not like Pres. Clinton at Ron Brown's funeral laughing and then wiping away tears as soon as he saw the camera. I believe that his sorrow shows how seriously he takes the decision that he and congress made. This shows a real Man, not an Oprah audience member.
Crying is an infectious thing. If a room full of crying people does not move you to tears, you simply have no heart. Period.
I thought you were at home watching the kids? Get off the computer our daughter is probably putting the dog in the dryer again as we speak!
The President does not cry over "one dead man." He cries over "every dead military one."
WHY? What must he explain that he hasn't already? And, isn't two years explanation enought? AND, besides, we are at war. People need to get over it. Our government can declare war whether we agree or not!
You couldn't be more wrong.
The American people like a man who is man enough to grieve, as long as he is doing the right thing. President Bush is that kind of man!!
Well, you still haven't said why it's OK for Jesus to cry, but not a President. You've said twice now that they are different and something about sauces. OK. Bush is not Christ. Got it. If Bush were weeping on national TV that would be one thing. Shedding a tear with the family of a dead soldier is something else. Would it make you feel better if it was reported "Bush has met with hundreds of devastated mothers and fathers of dead soldiers and never once did he shed a tear or show any emotion."? That to me, would be disturbing.
the newest new word is "Suiciders" . I like it.
Shame on you.
You obviously suffer from a cold, cold heart. You are to be pitied.
Perhaps that 100+ degree heat in Arizona has fried your brain.
With people like you living there, I am so glad I moved from Arizona.........
Don't talk to me like that. I have every right to respond to the different comments.
