MEMRI: Jordanian Prof/Terrorist on Saudi Al-Majd TV: Kings David & Solomon Were Muslims

Jordanian Professor/Terrorist on Saudi Al-Majd TV Says Kings David & Solomon Were Muslims Who Today Would Have Fought Israel, Supports Leading Holocaust Denier

On November 13, 2005, Saudi Al-Majd TV aired an interview with Jordanian lecturer on religious law Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nawfal. In the interview, Nawfal discussed Armageddon and quoted Roger Garoudy. Sheikh Dr. Nawfal is a lecturer at the Shari'a Faculty of the University of Jordan, and was associated with Sheikh 'Abdallah 'Azzam, the spiritual leader of the movement of Arab and Muslim volunteers for jihad in Afghanistan and the spiritual mentor of Osama bin Laden.(1) Nawfal has acknowledged collaborating with 'Azzam in launching jihad operations against Israel from Jordanian territory.

TO VIEW THIS CLIP GO TO:
http://www.memritv.org/search.asp?ACT=S9&P1=925 .

The following are excerpts from the interview:

Nawfal: "The Jews dug 40 meters into the ground, and found nothing. There is no indication that a temple existed there. Brothers, they are making fun of you. Unfortunately, we are unwittingly legitimizing this nonsense of theirs. This is nonsense. This is heresy and blasphemy against God, history, human beings, and common sense. We, unfortunately, are being swept along with the tide. And then we write books that give them legitimacy. This is strange.

"Sir, if David and Solomon were to return to life, these [Zionist] criminals would fight them and they would fight back. David and Solomon were among our ranks. If Solomon had a temple, we would be worshipping Allah in it. We would not be worshipping idols and polytheism in it, like they do.

[...]

"Armageddon is a word in English, and it has become a film of global proportions. They have inflated it to the point that it has become an actual belief. There are now dozens of millions of pro-Zionist Americans who believe that the temple should be founded on the ruins of Al-Aqsa, in order to hasten the coming of the Messiah - as if Allah accelerates his timetable on the basis of human deeds. Thus, they want to hasten the coming of the Messiah by accelerating the destruction of Al-Aqsa and the building of the temple on its ruins."

Television host: "How many people in the West are motivated by this belief?"

Nawfal: "Hundreds of millions."

Television host: "Hundreds of millions."

Nawfal: "Worse still, [they include] decision-makers. Reagan is one of those who believe in this, and now Bush has passed Reagan by light years in his belief in this. His campaign against us is not a transient, political issue. This issue is stuck in his head. It is their faith. Many pro-Zionist Christians are more extreme than Sharon, much more extreme.

[...]

"They believe that the decisive global war will take place on the Megiddo Plain. The film gave it all different dimensions - different metaphors and symbols... They are too sophisticated to say it straightforwardly. No, they hint at it. But ultimately, they have managed to plant in people's minds the belief in Armageddon."

[...]

Nawfal: "Roger Garoudy said: 'If we take the number of gas chambers and the maximal daily capacity of an oven, and multiply them by the period you Zionists, claim the Holocaust lasted - even if we multiply the number of ovens by the maximal [capacity], the figure is grossly exaggerated. The number of those burned [sic] was 600,000. You added another zero, and turned it into six million.'"

I always suspected as much. Look at the Song of Solomon, for example, where he writes:

Yea, verily I shall gird my loins,
With silk and linen and samite,
I shall embrace my camel and then I shall don
A thousand shekels of high explosives
And hie me to the marketplace where I shall
Blow the people into itty bitty bits...

Well, OK, it's a rough translation.

What?

"They're going to have to go farther back than David and Solomon - they'll have to go back and re-write Abraham."

They did. I guess you haven't seen an english translation of the Koran. It's a hoot.

Are the islamics now claiming that islam always existed,

Short answer: Yes!

"Everyone" was Muslim from the Beginning. Islam was 'the pure religion', but became perverted by Da Jooos; and later, was twisted further by Christians. Mad Mo (Pig^&*T be upon him) was given the Koran to "restore" the errors that had been allowed to corrupt.

This, from a people who have such a tight grasp of theology and history believe, among may howlers, Miriam, sister of Moses, is Mary, Mother of Jesus!

I would concede that their father, that Old Serpent, Satan, was right there in the Garden; I will further concede that he did corrupt Adam & Eve; but, I will NEVER accede to a belief that Satan (Allah) created them, and created them Muslim, no less!

Here's a pic showing the descendants of the early muslims who still live in the Outback. We are rounding them up. I believe some are nice and tender, and some run very fast.

Let's see.......so completely out of touch with reality that reading for more than two minutes gives the reader a migrane, plus a gay & festive attitude about bending truths into moebius strips if required to support his agenda.

Don't know if he's really Muslim or not, but for sure he's either one of Michael Moore's script writers or the sumbitch who taught Slick public speaking and ethics.

It's not just religion, it's history, geography, science - there's not a single aspect of life on earth they do not claim as islamic. Why and how?
Simple.

An imam was recently quoted as saying; 'We believe in the establishment of sharia wordwide even if it means the death of all human beings.'

So, once we are all dead and allah is happy, the truth won't matter anymore. There'll be no one left to question their lies.

American Muslim History

A Chronological Observation
By Fareed H. Numan (December 1992)

(Edited by Ishaq Zahid for islam101.com)

Unquestionably, Muslims have made an impact on the evolution of American society. Historically Muslims have made major contribution, e.g. humanities, the sciences, and art. They explored North America 300 years before the so-called "discovery" of the New World by Christopher Columbus. They used the Mississippi river as their access route to and from the continent's interior. Here are a few glimpses of Muslim life in American History:

1178
A Chinese document know as the Sung Document records the voyage of Muslim sailors to a land know as Mu-Lan-Pi (America). Mention of this document is contained in the publication, the Khotan Amiers, 1933.
1310 Abu Bakari (Abu Bakar), a Muslim king of the Malian Empire, spearheads a series of sea voyages to the New World.
1312 African Muslims (Mandinga) arrive in the Gulf o Mexico for exploration of the American interior using the Mississippi River as their access route. These Muslim explorers were from Mali and other parts of West Africa.
1513 Pri Ries completes his first world map, including the American, after research maps from all over the world. The practicality and artistry of his map surpassed any from his time or before.
1530 African slaves arrive in America. During the slave trade, more than 10 million Africans were uprooted from their homes and brought to American shores. Many of these slaves were from the Fulas, Fula Jallon, Fula Toro, and Massiona as well as other areas of West Africa. These areas were governed from their capital, "Timbuctu." These slaves were sent to Mexico, Cuba, and South America. More than 30 percent of these 10 million slaves were Muslim. They became the backbone of the American economy.
1539 Estevanico of Azamor, a Muslim from Morocco, lands in Florida with the ill-fated expedition of Panfilo de Narvaez in 1527. Estevanico remained in America to become the first of three Americans to cross the continent. At least two states owe their beginnings to this Muslim, Arizona and New Mexico.
1732 Ayyub ibn Sulaiman Jallon, a Muslim slave in Maryland, is set free by James Oglethorpe, founder of Georgia, and provided transportation to England. He arrived home (Boonda, Galumbo) from England in 1735.
1790 Moors from Spain are reported living in South Carolina and Florida.

etc etc etc...http://www.islam101.com/history/muslim_us_hist.html

1010 B.C. and 970 B.C. are the approximate dates for the beginning of the reigns of King David and King Solomon, not their dates of birth. Not that it makes that much difference when both of them lived more than 1500 years before Muhammad was born.

The Bible portrays David and Jonathan (son of King Saul) as friends, but gives no indication that they had a homosexual relationship (although some people have tried to read that into the text, notably the Rev. Billy James Hargis). I've never heard anyone say that Solomon was a homosexual...after all, he had about a million wives (according to Huckleberry Finn).

Estevan or Estevanico is real, one of the four survivors of Narvaez's ill-fated expedition to Florida who eventually made it back to Mexico under the leadership of Cabeza de Vaca. He was born in Azamor (Azemmur) in Morocco (SW of Casablanca), so was probably a Muslim at first, but no doubt was required to become a Christian when he was enslaved...Estevan is a Christian name (Stephen). Whether he kept any Muslim beliefs to himself is unknowable.

He was killed by Indians when part of an advance party for the Coronado expedition, but whether that was in Sonora or Arizona I don't know--at any rate it is ridiculous to credit him with the origins of the states of Arizona and New Mexico.

Indeed, but can you trust anything or anyone in this episode? After all, we also know they were Islamists, Democrats and time travelers. As (I believe) Groucho once said, "Who are you going to believe, me or your own lying eyes?"

The claim that the african slaves were muslim is something I find utterly reprehensible, like everything else about islam. The arabs rounded up the indigenous peoples of the African continent as if they were cattle, they did this for millenia, and if you look closely it's still going on in the Sudan right now.
Slavery is still an acceptable practise in Saudi Arabia.

That African Americans would convert to islam is the final irony. They are taking up the religion (cult) of their masters who captured them, matched them through the desert manacled to each other and sold them to the slave traders who took them to the New World.
Stockholm syndrome after hundreds of years, maybe?

There would never have been a black slave in the US or anywhere else if it wasn't for the arabs.

It was common I have read, that the arabs would promise the natives a trip to Mecca and load them onto the boats and the 'muslim convert to islam' simply never saw his family nor his/her homeland again.
