GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
What's that song .. di dum di dum
"On the muscle of my arm
There's a red and blue tattoo
Foat Werth Ah Luv YEWWWW"
LOL
Great place.
Pelosi is a disgrace, and McKinney, too.
McKinney went on record afterward to say she wanted the bulk of troops home and those left, left in smaller numbers after Murtha himself said that a complaint from the field was that there weren't ENOUGH troops.
God help save us from these nitwits.
Someone said on another thread this morning...that maybe President Bush will swing by Iraq, on his way home from Asia...about Thanksgiving time, again.
Tell National Review, I'll tell them too, to GROW UP AND GET A SPINE. :-)
Amazing they critisize Reps but have none themselves. I've noticed they've been pretty silent over the last week while the rest of us having been busting our butts beating back against the Dems on the war. The blogs, talk radio, here. Where the hell have they been? celebrating at a birthday party.
She voted NO, is she trying to send a message to men from women that NO means YES? This can cause lots of trouble.
You are right to keep the pressure on. Some of these Pubbies are only looking to their own political survival. They need to look at the survival of their party and the mission set forth by our Commander in Chief.
Never left...just got a little disorganized.
(H.M.)
Exactly... the American people will conclude that politicians-- who are craven self interested, poll readers-- overwhelmingly voted to stay in Iraq. i think this vote tonihgt dealt a mighty blow to the antiwar forces.
No, he said that their vote could not/would not be held against them.
Har.
LoL...that or the pallet load of twinkies in his pockets prevented him from getting in the door.
My Democrat uncle thinks the same thing. I told him, "this coming from a man who's lost elections for 12 straight years". The GOP has to stand TOGETHER, loudly and consistently, and support the President and the war. The leftists won't stop, they want to lose the war, they want it to fail, they want to be back in power. Losing the war is a small price to pay to sink George Bush.
I think Murtha read his original during the "debate" ... it started with a whole bunch of "whereas, .." Iraq is going to hell in a handbasket, and whereas the President is an idiot and whereas DoD isn't giving the troops what they need ... I quit listening after the first few whereases, but gather after all that baloney he probably called for immediate withdrawal - the plan was to debate all his whereases, get lots of partisan attacks and soundbites in, etc. Our guys just pared it down to the final red herring and called their bluff.
I would have bet on it. But when the Rubber meets the Road.
OMG it's burnt in my retinas.
Didn't the entire Black Caucus (i.e. the field hands being lead by a task master) say that they were going to vote for the resolution during the first phase of getting the resolution to the floor?
I think so. Although the last post on this topic was around 6pm? So they have cut and run themselves, LOL!! Why on earth is it bad to confront the dems?
I caught that, but what was that related to? Where did the Able Danger stuff just go?
