Obviously their screening is designed to allow fake Republicans to get through as "I voted for Bush but he sucks."

what a fun friday PM this is turning out to be!You bet!

Im confused too, they are calling him mr speaker, but I thought that was Hastert? Whoever is the designated parliamentarian of the current proceedings (could be anyone) is referred to as "Mr. Speaker". Hastert remains the "Speaker of the House of Representatives". Everyone else is his designee.

The Rules committee is meeting to consider what to do next about the Iraq Resolution...Dreier is the chairman...I think he is solid on this issue...

Thanks - glad you are on this thread even though you are TV-less. I actually reread the thread title - they are doing these other bills and the BILL OF IMPORTANCE for which we are gathered here to watch is not supposed to be on tap until 7:00 PM. I just know the Demorats are doing all they can to screw up the works to prevent this resolution from even being voted on. Anything to avoid being called on the carpet to unveail their truly traitorous hearts before the American people!
I have resolved that every conversation I have from now on re: Democrats MUST include the word Traitor, treason, or traitorous. They will no longer be given free reign to spew their hatred and their treason without being called on it - at least in every conversation I have.

They are talking about something I have posted about. And that's that the FEMA/NFIP "insurance" progam is not insurance but a pipeline directly into the US Treasury.
To: jwalsh07
You make an excellent point, they are trying to make a party issue out of this, but there is no way to substantiate who people are, at least with a pro and con you can establish a caller's view. That should be enough and I would suggest you make your suggestion known to Cspan. I think that was a very intelligent observation on your part, BRAVO!

It will be interesting because I don't think every democrat in this country is anti-war (unless they've all been reduced to tin hat status).

Are they likely to decide in the next 24 hours?
To: Jrabbit
*sorry... I just couldn't resist. BTW- how much Tom Foolery are we going to see the Dems pull right now?

Thanks for the ping....I'm only 1300 posts behind!

Shut up. And take that crap OFF this thread.
More enlightened dialogue from the socialist wing of the Republican Party. Delightful.
To: Diva Betsy Ross
Thanks a lot for THAT visual!
Seriously though, wouldn't you feel a lot better if one of our guys just knocked the every living CRAP out of a Democrat?
They can start with Sheila Jackson Lee.
