Heck, why have trials and find out who's guilty when you can just keep punishing innocent and guilty together!

I think 90% of Federal Judges should be sent down to Guantanamo, and locked up permanently.

Kotelly ruled that the Hicks trial be suspended ahead of an anticipated ruling by the US Supreme Court on the legality of the special military tribunals set up after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Huh??? Guess all those trials of the Nazi's for war crimes wouldn't happen in today's world?? An I missing something or is this BS like I think it is?

OK, so is Justice-pending Alito going to be seated in time to rule on this? Or will the Dems try and keep Sandra Day alive for this vote from the SC?

...which have been condemned by civil legal groups and even many of the military lawyers defending the detainees.

OMG! Even the defense attorneys want their clients to get a better deal! If that's what the defense attorneys argue then it must be a good idea -- at least that's how the logic works with this writer.

Seriously, this is a pretty lousy piece of "news" writing.

Some of the judges need to be tried as well for aiding and abetting terrorism against the United States of America.

How about we do what the Geneva Convention allows for in these cases? Hold a summary court martial in the area where they were captured. Either release there, or carry out the penalty prescribed the the G.C.

Put them on a barge in cages.

Tow the barge out into the Gulf of Mexico.

Scuttle the barge.

No more detainee problem.

Questions?

Turn them all loose in Washington DC. That way they can be close to their supporters and brother insurgents.

Court may suspend "War on Terror" trials, but then it would be only appropriate to extend War On Terror captures & firing squads.
