IMO those who coerce children into abortions should be required to register as sexual predators.

I got a real bad feeling after seeing those SLO numbers. 17% of SB reporting, and that will likely go more liberal too.
I think the propositions might all fail.
To: SmithL
Good job Pro Lifers - while you are fighting the 'abortion should be illegal' battle, a no brainer like 73 fails in the largest state of the union.
Ugh.
Looks like the jewels of the night are OH ballots and TX same sex marriage ban.

I am ready to cry at this point.
What can anyone do to get this state on the right track? Arnold did the best anyone could do.

I'll only speak from experience. Education bonds were always a sacred cow. Even if you were retired, you voted to pass them because "kids gotta get educated." People are ignorant of how bad the schools really are.
A lot like the state budget mess: their 6 o'clock news doesn't tell them what's really going on. And the politicians don't either.
I started voting against education bond issues about 15 years ago, when I decided I would give the schools more money only when they improved their performance. I'll be voting NO for a long time to come.

Good job Pro Lifers - while you are fighting the 'abortion should be illegal' battle, a no brainer like 73 fails in the largest state of the union. Kinda premature with less than 1/3rd of all precincts reporting in, don't you think?

I don't believe for a second that San Bernardino will vote 42-58% against Prop 73 (which are the current numbers)
To: DoughtyOne
the left bought this election via the unions They spent 130 million. How much will they have left for the 2006 elections ?
To: Yaelle
What is discouraging is that 0% of LA County is reporting. I can't think LA will be positive.
To: DoughtyOne
It's going to be a war of attrition, the union shot off some mighty big guns and spent big, it is a lot closer than even they expected it would be.
June '06 looms, and then the General in November.. the unions are going to be hard pressed to retain control as things deteriorate.
