It is now getting dark in Paris and in all of France(appx. 6:40 PM Paris Time), and if there are any French FR lurkers(lurquers), this may be the thread to post your reports about any further violence.

It seems the French govt. is impotent in it's response to what seems are jihadist thugs and it seems the American media has put a news blackout filter to what is really happening, so as not to embarass their heroes, Chirac et al.

So any news reports or personal reports from what happens tonight are welcome, and don't worry about broken English, reports in French are welcome also, I have no doubt someone can translate.

I really dread putting up a live thread about such a matter, but it seems that the American MSM is following French govt. orders to play down to what it seems is an insurrection.

You probably wouldn't understand it, but translated, it would mostly consist of messages that say "Run! Run!", "Retreat", "Get those guys out of there!", and "Evacuate the area!"

France is an idea that has been mutilated by socialism, immigration, and multiculturalism.

Islamic extremism has no such qualms about its identity or a willingness to chop off heads or attack the disabled on the road to victory.

The video I saw yesterday showed a few French reporters get forced from their car. They continued to film as they ran from the vehicle. The "youths" took everything out of the car and torched it in the street.

The video coverage has been poor, and I'm guessing there have been a few casualties that we haven't heard about. Certainly, there are people who have died of heart attacks, etc. simply because the medical services can't get to them.

I wouldn't doubt that the chirac French govt. has a filter of what news gets out, and plus the French peoples almost plague like aversion to converse in English, limits any news coming out of France.

Where is the LIVE COVERAGE???!!!

This is the result of state-controlled media. I was in Bonn Germany when the UN was putting together the Afghan government at Wintergarten. The lack of coverage was amazing. No shots of the UN flags on every light standard. No film of the massive protests and marches at the Marktplatz. It was like living in a parallel time warp.

CNN, Reuters, and AP would love to be entities of the United Socialist States of America. We are obligated to prevent that.

OK, I gotta' ask.... How do we know this is being done for the cause of Islam? Sure, I'm get the clear picture that these are Muslim youth, but why are they doing this? The primary cause could be racial, ethnic, economic, rather than the fact these rioters happen to be Muslim.

By no means am I a Muslim apologist.... just want to be clear about the facts.
