Check out the logo in the background in this photo, which is currently up on Drudge in regard to the news that CNN anchor Aaron Brown has been fired.
Note the background logo: "America Strikes Back." Coincidence? I don't think so! Nice work, Drudge!

I think Brown is going to end up taking over for Jennings.

He richly deserves the reward he has received for all his hard work.
I see him teaching 'journalism' at Harvard for 500K a year within the month.

I think Brown is going to end up taking over for Jennings.I think he'll just hide away and write a bitter book about the stupid heathens out here who could not understand his understated and quiet nuance (BARF).

Well, Aaron Brown is Jenning's equal in the smugness department, so it's a fit.

On my cable service, CNN is channel 13. How appropriate.

What happened to that tall gal that left Fox to do the morning show for CNN and then was moved to the evening? I never watch CNN, so I have not kept up with their moves.

"He's got a refreshing way of being the anti-anchor," he said. "He's not quote-unquote reporting at you. He's just being himself. He's asking the questions you would like answered. He's getting involved the way you might. You feel that he's a regular person that you can trust talking to you. He brings such a passion to the storytelling that's infectious." I think this paragraph is extremely telling. Someone should tell these people it should not be storytelling. It is reporting the news.

he was hurt by a widely reported story in 2003 that he didn't cut short a golf outing to come to work on the day the Columbia space shuttle disintegrated. That seems like it would be a mistake...

IOW yet again, FOX is number one with a boring talent before the camera because the boring talent has zero competition.
It is as if fox is the only new network in the face of the other wana-bes.
AND fox reruns their stuff at 11!

He was an anchor in Seattle for years.
Every time I see that smirk I wanna hurl...

"I think Brown is going to end up taking over for Jennings." This POS worked for ABC as their 2am to 6am 'anchor' in the years just before Klinton was elected.
Based on how sh&ty he was on that show surprised me that he ever got another newscast job - cable or otherwise.
If ABC were to put him in Jennings job it would just help continue the demise of network news broadcasting.
Please, ABC, grab'em up and put him on air - PLEASE!

I have never heard of Arron Brown and I know absolutely nothing about him. Why, you ask? Because I will not degrade myself by watching CNN, and I haven't watched CNN in more than four years.
To: RightOnline
He was fired because he needed a "much needed break" to spend more time with his family. :-)
