Watching WH briefing John Roberts Just apoligized to McClellan by sayin "I'm sorry for my unfortunate choice of words this morning". McClellan just nodded in response.
Not good enough. CBS has to apologize, and not just to McClellan. Then it has to fire the lowlife SOB.
These reporters do not understand simple English,I cannot comment on the matter means just that.
Just called. She confirmed that there is a lot of calls complaining of his choice of words. It's almost funny.
Each time they ask a rude question it proves their lack of integrity.
If it turned into a sparring match, we would lose the advantage.
Arrrrgh! You are a brutal person. Even if he is a low-life, that is one tough punishment ;-)
Shame on Roberts.
Not me. The socialist media know all about "Sloppy Seconds" and they should be held accountable for their idiocy. At the Whitehouse no less!
Yeah, I don't think he intended to offend.
I'd unbunch and move on.
I certainly don't know anyone who doesn't know the meaning of this phrase. Even my Chinese girlfriend, who has only been an American citizen for two years, knew what it meant, and was offended that I would even ask her such a question. Roberts is an adult male, he knew exactly what he was sayin'!
McClellan should have revoked his WH press pass on the spot and had the SS throw the dirty-minded troll out onto Pennsylvania Ave.
Hmm. I'm 55, female, and Canadian. I have never heard the phrase before.
Whoa. Even CBS "got the buckwheats" over that slip of the tongue!
Unless this guy grew up home schooled or with the amish, he knew what sloppy seconds meant. I think the White House should tell him not to come back and CBS should get rid of him.
The term goes hand-in hand with "gang bang", which is what the MSM tries to do to the Bush admimistration every chance. Every high school boy in the 60s would get the reference.
Because, while I hate to turn this into a knock on Scott McClellan's "abilities", he is woefully over his head in dealing with these asps and effectively advancing and defending the administration's positions. I envision someone like Mark Steyn humiliating these rotten turds at every turn and loving every second of it.
He needs to be FIRED. To heck with being Mr. Nice Guy. We don't have to pick this battle: it fell into our lap and we would be fools not to insist this idiot gets the axe. He is another Dan Blather hot shot that needs to be put in his place.
The MEDIA runs Bush mispeaks 24/7 trying to make him out to be a fool. Nothing wrong with a little return fire at them.
Wow.
Alito nominated and Roberts' apologizes? Banner Day.
Perhaps you have lived a sheltered life.

At least Drudge didn't use this definition.
