Ah I didn't realize Plame was in France. Did you just "out" her?

Sad day. Abuse of judicial process here. Waste of time and taxpayer money on a steaming pile of bull-pucky.

What is even worse is that a SP spent more time and money on White Water and could not even get an Indictment of the Clintons. You seem to forget - the SP decided NOT to choose to do so, not due to lack of evidence, but for the good of the country, and then prepared reports & engaged in a plea bargain with Clinton.

And Russert contradicts the prosecution. I can just imagine Libby asking for the charges to be tossed by the trial court because Fitzgerald relied heavily on Russert's account to procure an indictment for conspiracy. We heard only side of the story with this indictment and if Libby does in fact call Russert as a witness, there may not even be a trial.

according to the indictment Libby first learned about Plame from the STATE DEPT That would be the memo reporting the results of Wilson's oral debriefing that Colin Powell showed around to various people on Air Force One.

I was keeping an eye on him in case no one got indicted (I've never actually seen anyone's head explode on live TV before) and for awhile he sort of fastened onto VP Cheney being mentioned in the text, but then that wore off and he went back to normal. That ended any interest I had in watching PMSNBC.

One of the charges is Russert's words vs. Libby's. Russert said he did not say something and Libby said he did. Fitzy believes Russert but not Libby.

That's I think also needs to be investigated. My tax dollars go out to this government every year and I don't want no CIA employee's spouse doing intelligence work who really has no business in doing so.

The implication of the charges seem to be that if there wasn't an investigation there wouldn't have been any crime at all. Bingo! We have a winner!
Moreover, it appears his crime was that he was misleading the GJ by not revealing classified information.

Ah, I have been watching to see if anyone made the connection between Libby and Mark Rich.
Thank you, it took 106 posts for the facts to come out.
Libby ought never have been allowed to remain when the new term began.

Yes and there isn't a crime cause for the life of me, I can't understand why Colin Powell wasn't indicted for passing around that memo.

Are you aware of the order of succession? The Speaker of the House is next in line
The order of succession you mention wouldn't apply in this situation. Just ask Gerald Ford.
Or read the 25th Amendment.

The Bush administration handled this very well. We should be proud.WELL SAID!!!
Now hopefully Bush will issue a blanket pardon to all involved so Fitzgerald can find something useful to do with his time.
