What a shameful travesty.

The DimoKlan has succeeded in lynching yet
another innocent man.

But Al Sharpton, a purposeful vile Anti White and Anti Semite, was accorded respect as a Democrat candidate.

We're using it with our 5 yr old for kindergarten. It is very intensive and seems a bit much for kindergarten. My wife is just getting into the whole homeschooling thing so we'll see. Personally, I can hardly wait until we get to atomic design! ;^)

In Arizona K12 is free to students also, but homeschooled students are discouraged (even though they still send me the cards every year). A student must be in public school one year before being allowed in K12.

It may not be free in all states. In Colorado there is a "charter school" set up that uses K-12 as its curriculum. http://www.covcs.org/about/ It's funded like a public school, but it's done at home online with the parent as a "teacher's helper". There is an actual teacher that the parent and student meet with for testing etc. From what I've seen so far it has put my child far ahead of her friends that go to a physical public school.

It is also available in other states through similar schools. (We heard about it through friends from out of state.) Check here for state specifics. http://www.k12.com/options/

She's learning about Chinese history already in first grade. And you find this preferential to learning American History??? Sorry I see no good in your child learning Chinese History at her age.

Why oh why do the Republicans always cave to pressure exerted by the left! Even Rush did it! I just don't understand why they don't hold their ground. To the public, quitting looks like guilt. I am so disgusted with PC.

Elitists on any side do not have the balls to stand up and fight. They use big words and huff and puff...they never take a proper swing.

Usually they run and hide.

Why are we so unable to deflect criticism like the democrats?

Aside from the fact that conservatives have a conscience, morals, scruples and when appropriate exhibit shame, where the Dims do NOT. They [the Dims] have the MSM on their side.

Case in point. Today after the Miers's nomination the ENTIRE press corps, all the leftist pundits...EVERYONE with an agenda against George Bush are ALL on the exact SAME talking point. "CRONYISM"

When a Democrat needs to deflect criticism, the ENTIRE press corps DOES NOT join the fray with the GOP talking points.

There are a few other reasons but these are the MAIN points and they are SUBSTANTIAL and very difficult to overcome on a consistent basis.

They've airbrushed him totally out of the k12 site, and his own site could stand some fine tuning also. Can't bring it up.

"I wouldn't get too upset over this. One of the biggest rackets in government today involves these former Washington bureaucrats who leave the public sector and then find their way into advisories roles like this, or onto the boards of various Beltway special-interest groups."

You are hilariously correct.

He very likely didn't do much to get on this particular boondoggle, so it follows that it doesn't take much to get thrown off of it.

LOL I guess I should've explained further. She does get plenty of American history too from me. Trust me. :~) But 1st grade is the year for ancient civilization history in the K12 curriculum. Including ancient Chinese history. Much of the stuff in there I had to refresh my memory on, and I used to be a history teacher. I don't think it's overly tough, but it's a good foundation.

The detractors of this politician said that they were offended because it sounded too much like the word n****r.

LOL. Saying "Democrat" isn't that bad....

I often wonder when I read criticisms on here about the MSM and wonder why it remains that way. The MSM relies on advertising to support their business. I recall a few years ago some homosexuals got upset cause Dr. Laura was supposed to have acted like a homophobe so they got together and threatened her sponsors. Why can't Freepers do the same thing? I would gladly stop using products that as a group we sanction. I believe it can work but as usual all we do is talk.
