Why are we so unable to deflect criticism like the democrats?Aside from the fact that conservatives have a conscience, morals, scruples and when appropriate exhibit shame, where the Dims do NOT. They [the Dims] have the MSM on their side.
Case in point. Today after the Miers's nomination the ENTIRE press corps, all the leftist pundits...EVERYONE with an agenda against George Bush are ALL on the exact SAME talking point. "CRONYISM"
When a Democrat needs to deflect criticism, the ENTIRE press corps DOES NOT join the fray with the GOP talking points.
There are a few other reasons but these are the MAIN points and they are SUBSTANTIAL and very difficult to overcome on a consistent basis.
I often wonder when I read criticisms on here about the MSM and wonder why it remains that way. The MSM relies on advertising to support their business. I recall a few years ago some homosexuals got upset cause Dr. Laura was supposed to have acted like a homophobe so they got together and threatened her sponsors. Why can't Freepers do the same thing? I would gladly stop using products that as a group we sanction. I believe it can work but as usual all we do is talk.
