The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

Oklahoma Democrats are different from crazy Democrats--they're a lot like the Texas Democrats who support the President.
Both sides of my family are from Oklahoma, and they are virtually all Democrats. For the most part, the support the President and love our country. I can sit down a visit with all my cousins with a couple of exceptions and have interesting and entertaining conversations regarding politics. We love one another enough not to get into hate fests.
David Boren brought Tom Brokaw to the University to speak at graduation, if you remember, and I believe he has come to regret doing that. Many Oklahomans were angry with Brokaw and demanded some accountability for that.
I don't believe in coincidences...
I'm watching the 9 o'clock news now and nothing about anything in Tempe expect the USC fans celebrating their victory today.
Have an "ear witness" Talking on another board. He says that it was a deep boom, too big for a pipe bomb. He says that he has experience with pipe bombs. Considering the board, I'll lean toward believing him.
Why would there be 2 devices if it was 1 person committing suicide?

I don't know. Paul Harvey had the story of some death row inmate that fashioned a pipe bomb out of part of his cot
and the corners of playing cards.
He successfully deprived the executioner work.
I don't hear anything on the east valley scanner about HAZMAT
I do not want to practice medicine on line. Be aware of the symptomatology. Should you run an unexpected fever, have a severe headache, break out in a rash, or have an unexpected cough go to your physician and check it out. Last I understood streptomycin was the drug of choice, but that has probably changed. We rarely utilize that drug these days. Use common sense and do not panic. It is extrememly unlikely that you have come in contact with the agent.
actually, that is an important fact - how big was this bomb? a pipebomb is alot different then a suicide vest filled with C4.

Occam's Razor. Sometimes a kid with pipe bombs is just a kid with pipe bombs. How many of us played with explosives in our youth without planning something sinister and without getting ourselves killed? I doubt half the Estes Rockets my friends and I bought in our youth were actually for rockets.
Regardless of what anyone tells you, if someone wants suicide all it takes is a rope and a tree or a bullet and a "borrowed" gun. Making a pipe bomb requires PREMEDITATED MURDER as your intention.
