I do not want to practice medicine on line. Be aware of the symptomatology. Should you run an unexpected fever, have a severe headache, break out in a rash, or have an unexpected cough go to your physician and check it out. Last I understood streptomycin was the drug of choice, but that has probably changed. We rarely utilize that drug these days. Use common sense and do not panic. It is extrememly unlikely that you have come in contact with the agent.

I had a patient this past year and Gentamycin is now being used. He had a weird case. Never did figure out the soarce and neither did the Infectious disease specialist. He did well but was really sick for about 4-6 weeks. But he had an unusual case. Even infected his Gallbladder and we had to remove that.
