The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.
You're correct...(see post below yours). I didn't realize that when I first read the post. Thanks for catching it and my apologies.

I've been keeping up with this story since I first saw it posted Sat. night. I'm astounded that the MSM is giving this no coverage. Thank GOD for FR!

Perhaps he didn't want to dignify such a stupid question.
Re-visited the FBI's Temporary Press Page you posted a few days back. They now have listed the following:

Important Links
10/03/05: FBI Press Response on IG Report on Bureau Reprioritization Efforts
09/29/05: FBI Hurricane Katrina/Rita Efforts

Curious that I've seen a statement out of the FBI regarding the OU Bombing, but they haven't put it on this page as of yet.
Welcome to Free Republic! Thanks for pulling whatever strings you have at Fox News. Many of us have children and friends at OU and deserve to know the truth, not the mind numbing BS they are trying to shove down our throats.
Thanks! They've been receptive before when I've pointed out things they've omitted... (Although Greta van Scientologist wouldn't follow up on Lorenzo van Rijn..)
Thanks for posting these - it helps me pinpoint the spot much better - the south oval was still all taped off when i left Norman Sunday.

Wonderful photos, very very helpful. Thank you!
I realized through the days more precisely where the bench must have been. I'd only been to the game on a "fun bus" maybe a couple of times, but I was picturing us parking on Asp, before the parking garage was built.
Then I remembered it was the Oval that was the pavement my bus was on--because of the hundreds of times I had cut through right there, walking to the stadium, either from parking at frat house or just coming from the Union--and seeing all the buses in that spot.
Also friends would bring RV's and serve adult beverages there sometimes (enclosed tailgating) and I just had mentally skipped over the area in between the Oval and the stadium, because it's so close.
I love to walk the campus this time of year and later! (Since I no longer have classes to attend, you understand!) Thanks for the memories! Hope to have more of them to add soon, when I can get back up there.
I am NOT a liberal...I am VERY much a conservative. I think Michael Moore should be flogged and the ACLU blown to kingdom come. And I have my own feelings of islamist freaks. I work in immigration because I like helping people come to this country correctly. I do not support those who do not do so, I am a staunch supporter of the minutemen and I report illegals to DHS, even with the chance I could lose my job. I don't care. These people don't need to be here.
And neither do sleeper cells who are waiting to detonate the nuclear bombs that we know they have. These people walk among us - they are teachers, doctors, lawyers, students, and until we begin to racially profile them, we'll never catch them.
I'm not here to convince anyone of my political persuasion. But by my being here - I think that should say a lot for how I think.
