The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.
Could be dad or granddad. Isn't the kid a third?
It seems the MSM wants this story to go away.
Haven't they figured out that their power dwarfs the power of the blog-o-sphere?
Or maybe this guy is an Adam Sadam or whatever that nutcase from L.A.'s name is.
I wouldn't even know where to start looking for that answer! But yes, that was his claim. They gave him a wrist-slap for it, if I remember correctly.
My wife works for the University of Oklahoma and I just spoke to her and she knows Mr. Hinrichs. This is getting very weird.
It would have showed he had nothing on the site but when my son hit the link, it showed it was taken off line and now inactive. Even if you don't use it, it stays active while you are a student.
Somebody named Berkely? hmm.
You chose a very poor topic for your snide comment.
The unfortunate boat deaths were widely covered on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, and local affiliates today.
WHILE -- NOW PAY ATTENTION ---
There has been a main stream media blackout of Oklahoma suicide bombing.
Not a good comparison.
So the theory of press supression/indifference of this story is still valid.
Well, more info?
Did she share any details about him?
Doesn't know a soul in that fraternity. He did say they now have a house. Vaguely remember something about them buying a house. I thought only social fraternities bought houses but I guess I was wrong.
She say anything else ???
The AM's will pull the post, because of the address. You are correct, that a 61 yr old man did not do this!
Yeah, and in addition to Colorado Springs, CO, the 61-yo Joel H. Hinrichs has also lived in:
San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Fresno, CA; Delray Beach. FL; Lisle, Naperville, IL; Wichita, KS; Dayton, Vandalia, OH
Get off your high horse! You've been running roughshod over anyone and everyone who disagrees with you on this thread. I personally have to agree with the other poster - you never learned if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything. Flame on!!!
Were bomb squads sent there? If so, I'd be interested.
They are a social, but for engineers and architects. Wonder the place hasn't been blown up or fallen over before! My engineer dad is always tinkering with something.
IIRC, the kid who tried to board the airplane in OKC had the former mayor, Kirk Humphreys, as a landlord, and character reference. Must be nice.
If you do any kind of people searches, the fact that there are two Joel H. Hinrichses in Colorado Springs, CO, and the ONLY other Joel H. Hinrichs in the US is 61 and is in the same city as the 21-yo Joel H. Hinrichs, would tell you that is NOT a coincidence.
