Once again, I pray, dear heavenly Father, for the families of those who are serving our nation. They have given up much to our country; in some cases, their hopes and dreams for the future. And yet, Lord, we thank You that their sacrifice has not been in vain.

You are the Author of liberty. You told Moses to proclaim it to the people; You inspired prophets to rise up against injustice; and at the best of times, You sent Your son to strike the chains of sin from us, and He will come in glory again. Until then, You have set us to work.

We pray for those who fight tyranny, for You have no desire that men should be slaves of Pharaoh's or Caesars, or fear the Gulag or the religious police. You established our nation to be free men. We have abused our liberty to dishonor You; we pray Your forgiveness. But, if any act of man is obedience to You, it is in lifting the chains of the enslaved so he can find You on his own.

We pray for the speakers who have lost all. May You receive them with Your loving arms.

We also pray that You silence the voice of the mockers, by showing them their folly. We also ask You to teach us courtesy and tact, that we do not shame You in doing the same to others.

In Christ's most precious name, we pray, trusting You always. Amen.

We understand the birth pain of freedom and understand you have given women a voice in government.

Our voices of resolve must be heard. The commitment of our fallen calls out with blood from foreign fields. The mission of our forces calls out with sweat as they strugglge for freedom and justice.

The dedication to victory of those GOld Start Families represented in small number today calls out beyond our tears.

Our nation's home town heroes who take up ranks who hear the call today to accept our responsibility to support the troops on the front are our hometown heroes.

Become home town heroes. We must be united. We must be courageous and we must be heard with unwavering resolve around the world.

What is great about this crowd is that they are focused. They have one and only one agenda - supporting our troops who fight to end oppression for so many who do not enjoy the freedoms we have in this country.

Yesterday's rally had no focus and multiple agendas. It takes no effort at all to get college kids to don tye-dye shirts, make a few posters, and head to hear live music on a Saturday. Factor all the useless idiots out of that crowd yesterday and what was left? Nothing.
