Yep, we had a lot of fun. Keep reading. It gets funnier. Some of these speakers were hilarious. They forgot it was a "Stop the Iraq War" rally after the first twenty minutes.

If they replay it on C-SPAN, watch it and read along. There's some funny folk here.

Clarks' face since the pollsters seem to believe he, not Hillary, is the front runner for '08.

The only reason Clark is the "Front runner" is all the gay activists have the hots for him. Like many of the current "Republican canidates" Clark appeals to certain loud activists groups but cannot put the coalition together to win the nomination. My projection is both partys will be running people not even on the radar screen right now.

Okay, what are we watching next?

I rewound to the cute little Filipino girl and another round of "Brick In The Wall".

Donahue said it was going to be the largest rally since Vietnam. The other numbers I heard during the week were at least 250,000 and up. When I turned C-span on near the end, I only saw about 50 people listening to the speakers.

I saw a good number more of workers.

Larry Holmes without a left or right jab or even a decent verbal retort.

Interesting. I had envisioned (and Im being serious) Gore, Kerry, Clinton, Clark, Kucinich, and Dean (yes Dean) all making overtures around primary time..

I just heard some woman scream about Bush, "He won't talk to us so we've come to talk to him."

Hey, lady...in case you didn't know, the president's in Colorado right now.

ROTFLOL!

While united against the war, political beliefs varied in the Washington crowd. Paul Rutherford, 60, of Vandalia, Michigan, said he is a Republican who supported Bush in the last election and still does -- except for the war.

According to CNN and the Dinasours wonder why no one takes them seriously anymore. This guy probably does NOT even KNOW any Republicans.

What happened to your picture?

I wanted to post it to yet another thread, but when I went back, all I get is a red X.

Today's thread was one of the funniest I have ever participated in. And, as you say, there were some real funnies exchanged. I was laughing out loud.
As much fun as we had....the looney left got unhinged!
Go take a stroll through the democratic underground site...if you can stand all of the eff's the ignorant use in expressing themselves They're all bent out of shape that:
1. All the idiot groups took over the show from their madonna cindy...who in my mind is just as dim witted.
2. That the none of the old, tired media covered today's side show. I wish it had been covered live. The entire viewing country would have been able to see what kind of complete screw balls make up the left. Today was a goat rodeo. Just like the left can't manage in Washington, their dedicated flock can't manage anything either...like their protest.

Sadly, I forgot about this rally until 2:00pm today, so I didn't see if Donahue spoke. With the hurricanes and college football as distractions, I can't imagine they got any extra exposure.

Yahoo News had the rally at tens of thousands, not I can't even find it as a headline...curious.

You've gotta read the headlines carefully. AP over on FN had a piece talking about how 'tens of thousands had gathered' and then in a previous part, a ditty about how there were many protests around the country. Since no one will ever know for sure, they can say what they want. But even a few thousand is next to meaningless given how they get these rent-a-mobs there. I'm sure many of the others are simply bitter people that have time to visit DC.
