Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

My, point, PAR, is that I would trust someone with that many guns to be acutely aware of safety. And not to judge such a person as you would someone who has one gun and only fired it when he/she bought it. Ever been in a BB gun fight? Sure teaches you a lot, especially when you lose.

I think I explained myself earlier and can't bring myself to blow off your obvious insult.
I thought I was sincere in my post. I also explained my father-in-law, has a sizable cache of guns, compete in shoots throughout the country and make their own bullets. I know if there was trouble where we live, I'd be at his house where we'd be able to defend ourselves from looters (like in your case).
Perhaps what I've learned from him is a bit extreme or I am too much of a novice, but that doesn't mean I can't participate in dialogue. How else does one learn if they don't question things?
Bottom line is I didn't appreciate your insult.

As for a federal takeover, the left was hysterical that President Bush didn't break federal law and illegally send American troops into LA to begin with (it was for the children)...so why not?
Come to think of it, where ARE those Bush-bashing trolls who crawled out of the woodwork to claim they're conservatives and bash the president for the alleged sin of following Constitutionall law? They seem to have disappeared to make room for Moveon.org and Cindy Sheehan to demand withdrawl of troops from "occupied New Orleans" and are probably hoping we'll all forget their idiotic and conflicting original demands. I, for one, will not.
A natural disaster is one thing. I feel for the suffering of the affected, have donated water and have a toy/clothing drive going. The vultures who dove in to create a campaign platform on the backs of suffering people - mostly ignored by the drolling media if their opinion of their treatment and their president conflicts with the DNC memos - is something else entirely.
