Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

What do you want, you old buzzard?
CLAP CLAP Great rant needs to be said long loud and repeatedly
The reason they worried about this particular Belgian is because her foster human woke up to pee one night and flung the sheets off, and the dog freaked out and bit the crap out of him. They said that the dog had been attack trained and starved for affection, so it wouldn't have second thoughts about biting. Pity.
Wind speed is definitely trending down. It's too late to limit the surge, but it's good for anything that isn't flooded.
Who's side is he on anyway?
Geraldo just about got blown away just now. hehehehe!
Oh for pete's sake. Did you just see that?
Geraldo still in Port Arthur.
Goodnight, Rita freepers. Stay safe. I'm going to watch tv coverage all night, not particularly to watch Geraldo but he's starting to lose his balance at Port Arthur. Shep Smith is also at Port Arthur. I believe Shep said they were staying at a boarded up pharmacy.
Oh frick I had on MSNBC!
"Maximum sustained winds are near 120 mph..."
Looks like it will be no more than a Cat 2 when it hits.
That was funny as hell. It happened right on cue.
Now, now... weather chasers wouldn't do that.
LOL... look at the guy behind Mikey.
You too!
Absolutely no worries!
We are buds now.
THAT should scare you!!
;<)
I'd like to have a taxidermist do a full mount, in its natural posture with TV and all.
TXCN just showed live trafficam footage of an enormous supply convoy somewhere.
Hah! Hamroldo almost fell. No "woooaahhh" though. No sailboats adrift either, as far as I can tell.
Now, according to Rush today, sen. mary landrieu (lower case for low woman) has introduced a bill asking for $250 BILLION to rebuild ALL of NO. She is completely ignoring the fact that we've already pouring big money (no telling how much at this date) plus the billions proposed by President Bush plus all the $$ and contributions and volunteers that have given their services and $$ to this mud hole. Oh, here I go....ranting too.
She's flapping her legs as fast as her jaw. Just full of breathless energy, she is.
