Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

John Lewis and most of the black civil rights leaders from the 50`s and 60`s who fought against racism as young black men, have they themselves evolved into modern day racists. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Calypso Louie are the head black racists in America today. Pathetic creatures.

I was trying to listen to Rush and the hearings at the same time. Did Leahy just say John Dean will not be able to testify?

Did anyone catch the bit at the end of Special Report on FNC last night? I forget which late-night show it was from, but it showed a "bombshell" witness against Roberts, a pudgy white guy in a T shirt, who whined that Roberts threw a chili dog (or something like that) at him, etc. It showed various faces (including Roberts listening attentively, as he does), but when it showed Biden as the guy got started, Biden was unsmiling and then a dazzling Chessy cat smile appeared on his face.

I've just listened to the last two speakers, but according to Congressman John Lewis, D, Georgia, ROberts is unfit because:
1. He was only 10 when the Civil Rights Act passed
and
2. Apparently a memo he wrote regarding Civil Rights cause Katrina to hit the Gulf Coast.

IMOThey have chosen to "stay apart" and not assimilated into American society. It's been their choice, not forced upon them.
