Who's John Dean?
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! These PEOPLE need to learn to read! I am so tired of hearing them mischaracterize those darn memos to be Roberts' personal feelings!

John Dean was Chief Minority Counsel to the Judiciary Committee of the United States House of Representatives, the Associate Director of a law reform commission, and Associate Deputy Attorney General of the United States. He served as Richard Nixon's White House lawyer for a thousand days.
Nobody.
Actually he worked in the Nixon White House, and testified against Nixon in Watergate. He's a slimy little twit, who --incidentally -- served two years for obstruction of justice in spite of his turncoatism.
There was some rumor at one time that he actually engineered the original Watergate break-in to retrieve from the Dem office materials that might have showed a connection of his wife to a call-girl ring, but I don't know if anything ever came of it.
