Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

Another good question. "If we could clone toads, would congress have the right under the commerce clause to ban cloning?"
Roberts: Yes.
My thought: If we could clone endangered species, that would really solve a lot of the problems with the endangered species act.

I wish a Senator, any Senator, would read an amendment to the Constitution, like the 2nd Amendment, and then ask Roberts to explain what it means.
Roberts is obviously intelligent but I don't feel like I know anything about his judicial philosophy.
