I thought it was just gonna be repubs. today.

Now, how can Roberts REMEMBER all this stuff???? I would assume he was given copies of all the papers the dems intended to use. Or his people dug out everything they might be expected to use.

Chuck The Schmuck up. He wants Roberts to promise he will answer all written questions before they vote. Roberts says it depends how many there are, but he will try...
LOL!

Here goes Schumer on the docs from when he was in the solicitor general's office. Roberts says it's not ok to take a position if the client is asserting a privilege. No, Chuck, he is not the "client" this time.

Schumer points out that Roberts will be receiving written questions? Asks him if he will be able to answer them by time of the vote next week.
Roberts says it depends on how many questions there are. The fewer the questions, the longer the answers.

Same old refrain -- ask questions which he knows Roberts can't answer and then run to the media saying this man is not forthcoming and I cannot vote for him.

It looks like all of the GOP senators are going to give most of their time back to the chair in order to force a vote sooner.
To: Bahbah
But Roberts fillets him again. Client privilege trumps political gamesmanship.
