Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

Well stated and I totally agree with you. Their side's witnesses had blatantly obvious agendas.
His hatred seems to be all consuming. The people they choose to interview, the tone of the hosts, the entire programming of CSPIN is to favor the left.
Pat Leahy just had John Dean's statement placed in the record, he will not be appearing.
But they did enter his paper into the record. Bull if he can not appear so all can see him and hear his comments. What he says must be not submitted an entered into the record. Would what we have to say for Judge Roberts be entered into the record also........
I like it:)
This may have the beginnings of a 12 step program.
I'll also admit being from Georgia and will also apologize for Lewis and McKinney.
I also want to apologize in advance for anyone from Texas for whatshername and for the Californians for Maxine.
She's probably 55-60 now.
What she looks like from the neck down is anyone's guess.

I am not watching this, but I am seeing the MSM coverage. Now they are saying that he is saying he won't be a clone of Rehnquist.
Now, I understand the whole objective here is to placate the liberals.
But I'm starting to get a little worried that there isn't much here by way of testimony for conservatives to be happy about. Except that he is making the libs mad when he is not obviously Marshall, Blackmun or Brennan.
Anyone correct that?
Well at least the MSM won't have their soundbite.
"The Edward M. Kennedy Levee Plug-a-Leak Act of 2005"
Absolutely Priceless! Actually he probably just dropped an automobile down there--he has experience in that field.
Senator Leahy asked that Dean's statement be put in the record. I couldn't make out what leaky mumbled before he made the request, though.
Well since we're apologizing. I apologize for Illinois, Obama and Durbin
Would that what we have to say about Kennedy, Biden and Shumer would be entered into the record . . . ;-)
Let me ask you a question. Do you think that George W. Bush is a stupid man? He will not be likely to repeat the mistake of his father. The MSM can only do this let's make the conservatives nervous game, because they have nothing else to talk about.
You need a video capture card hooked up to your cable TV line, or if you can watch the video feed online through RealPlayer or Windows Media Player, you can capture the image from your screen by hitting "Print Screen" and pasting it into a graphics editing program. Then you need an online web account so you can post the image and hot-link it in your post.
:) HAHAHAHAHAH
I quit watching Washington Journal and all of the C-SPAN programming years ago, for the very reasons you stated.
I have never been able to figure out what goes thru Brian's=head. He used to question the assertions and then expose the callers and the guests for their partisanships.
Guess he's a Bush hater too?
He keeps repeating to the Dems that being a judge isn't about pushing an agenda -- it's about the Constitution and the law.
Interesting. I suppose it contains the ugliest of allegations (Roberts personally delivered guns to the Contras)which Leahy hopes no one will notice and about which he will make nasty insinuations. John Dean is not fit to comment on this man.
