Q&A with Roberts to Start
On Tuesday, the eighteen members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. begin questioning Chief Justice nominee John Roberts. This will take all day, with the senators asking their questions, up to a half-hour for each member, in order of seniority, alternating by party.

Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade
Feingold -- limits of executive powers
Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

Roberts just pronounced perceived as Biden did yesterday, that's a inside.
I haven't seen their questions. Just got back from class to catch Grassley and Biden. But I don't think anyone can be as crass as Biden is being right now.

Biden asks a question, Roberts starts answering. Biden cuts him off. Specter says let him answer. Biden says "I don't have time". Then he says Roberts isn't answering the questions.
Biden just said that Ginsberg did NOT adhere to her own policy of not answering questions. He wanted Roberts to say whether she behaved ethically, and Roberts said he wouldn't, so Biden said well lets just stipulate that she did not.
For dems, and right to die... same slope.

While I disagree with you as to what Robert's judicial philosophy is, one should be very careful to avoid falling into the liberal concept that a court is there to legislate back to sanity.
Biden, What an arrogant Ahole! He bragged on the "women's violence" legislation he wrote.
Roberts was on a talk show and address the broad issue of women's violence. Biden took it to be that Roberts was addressing Biden's women's violence bill as legislaton.
Bwhahahaha!
