The Dem playbook
The Hill newspaper gives us a peek at the Democratic playbook for the Roberts hearings. Below are the attack assignments for the Democratic members of the Committee:
Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade
Feingold -- limits of executive powers
Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

Durbin is up now ...
Cripes. Here's turbin durbin.
Local Dallas station WBAP (which carries Rush and Hannity) now has Mark Levin on from 6 to 8 PM. Yea!
Turbin's up. hey, he actually read a book!
Chris Matthews.
Dang..Durbin up just as I'm about to eat supper...
OK, thanks. I'll have to miss the final two.
Don't you be talking about my boy, Cornyn.
He's that, and also an anti-American American.
Looking at the membership list, Durbin is up now and I don't believe we heard from Coburn (who was impressive yesterday) and Brownback. Hopefully they're up next as Roberts earlier said he was willing to go until the end.
I'm foregoing my supper..lol. Turbin thinks he's clever. He's not met Roberts head to head. :)
Chris Matthews positively drips with hate for Bush ans anyone near him. I don't get it.
ans=and. I need to turn the light on here.
Thank you, star fan. I'll have to miss the final two, but I will check this thread for the highlights.
if there's any news about Chrissy LEAVING/GETTING FIRED/GETING THE BOOT/STALKING OUT/GETTING THE HEAVE-HO....please ping me.
That would be hugh.
Durbin working on overturning capital punishment.
The "Republican" governor to which Durbin just referred, George Ryan was a criminal for one, for another, the govenor overtuned ALL death sentences, not just ones that had DNA evidence that proved them innocent.
But he's never called Bush Bushitler, to a DUmmie that makes him a lapdog. The color of the sky is really different over there.
heheheh!
That would be Broussard right?
I may be incorrect, but, for all his warts, Matthews was fairly decent on the Clinton Impeachment thing.
