BTW how old is fatass Kennedy now? Certainly past his shelf life. Gawd, he's so old he stinks. I think he is in his 70's. What kills me is: he has a life time membership in the Sentate. There is just no getting rid of that vile creature.

Here we go again, Dems thinking that when he represented the administration it was his personal feelings as well.
To: Bahbah
"Kohl says, in spite of our laws and our rules, we see what happened in NO. (They could not stop the hurricane, Senator, that is true.) Mind numbing dumbness." LOL, I thought the same thing. Kohl might as well have said, As Chief Justice will you protect our coasts from hurricanes?
To: Bahbah; All
House just adjourned until about 6:00. C-SPAN1 now covering.
To: syriacus
Yep, I agree. Roberts is decidedly the smartest man in the room.

Excellent.
Why can't they tell the difference between something by law and how a person may feel about it?

DU is busy getting everyone to email Cafferty... am I surprised? Thanks for the Cafferty email. I sent the following question:
Please ask Judge Roberts his opinion on sentencing terms for hit and run drivers.

Is Kohl as slow as he appears?I think the concensus is yes.
To: syriacus
I greatly enjoy your witty poetry. Who says Conservatives have no culture?
They probably have poetry on DU (never been there), but I suspect it's mostly obscene.

His wife is about to nod off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all naturally get sleepy around this time of the day. Too bad she is so loyal that she won't get up and leave, walk around, get a cup of coffee, like the Dems on the committee have.
I'll bet she's heard her husband say most of these things before.
