Anybody just see this lady in New Orleans SHUT DOWN CNN blabbermouth Soledad O'Brien? It was awesome! The lady (whose name I forgot) said her ancestors settled in New Orleans and she's lived there all her life. She said her neighborhood was high and dry, she had running water, and she wasn't going to evacuate. She blasted CNN and the MSM for showing only shots of flooded New Orleans, saying they weren't showing the parts of the city that were dry and inhabitable. Then she blasted the NO city government for failing to implement its own evacuation plan and evacuate inner-city people using buses. O'Brien tried a few times to rebut the "New Orleans lady," but the lady SHUT HER DOWN and seized control of the interview. In the end, O'Brien agreed to take her TV crew to the lady's neighborhood and show that. This was GREAT!!!

"If they evacuate the city, the Army and the rest of the rescue workers are free to work on restoring the city. Crime would cease and the general population would not be an issue." I disagree... evacuate those who don't have a home...evacuate those who don't own a home or business. But in the areas where business owners and home owners can take care of themselves; let them stay and clean up their own neighborhoods. At some point in this mess, property owners and their rights on their own personal property need to be respected. This decree is being handed down by a loathesome Mayor who didn't do the right thing when a Catagory 5 hurricane was on his doorstep. I wouldn't trust him or his people to make sure that my property was safe.
There are still areas where no assistance has been received since the hurricane hit. Let the Feds attend to those who are really in need.

>Were the flood gates up on Friday? If she started the evacuation on early friday when the models were pointing to new orleans couldn't she have used the trains.<
I have a feeling you are right. But, remember, this is LA we're talking about. Heaven forbid they make arrangements to get their indigent citizens to a safe place.

It is slowly dawning upon the MSM they are seeing a negative reaction to their so called BS reporting, and may it only get much, much worse for the bastards.
May the MSM slime rot in hell for eternity.

That was my first and last thought. My middle thought was, what if you are serious?! LOL
And just in case you were, I didn't want this great lady (and any other great ladies on this thread)to get sick.
Bless your heart. I was almost positive you would straighten me out.

Ahem...Cement is infinitely smarter than 90% of the talking heads...
Cement will not wait for you, it won't act right if you don't treat it right, and unlike the so-called journalists, it will eventually become something useful.

CNN sucks, glad this lady called them on it. Maybe this is why Blanco will not order a complete evac of N.O.'s. Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking up for this obstructionist Blanco who blked the efforts of W to evac all of N.O.'s. She should go to prison for the death of so many poor folks...DERELICTION of HER DUTY, in the worst form.

She looks different from when she was hosting that lame computer show on MessNBC.
Speaking as a breathing male of the species, I always thought she was a cutie pie, but a little addled.
But then, we males likes'em a little addled.
