Just heard on FOX that Blanco refused to allow supplies to be brought to the stadium, "Because they wanted all those people to leave, and they didn't want to create a magnet to bring others there, by bringing in food and water!"""
Fox interviewed the head of the American Red Cross who said that the STATE Dept. of Homeland Security in LA refused to give them permission to bring water, food, and medical help to the Superdome and the Convention Center. Yes, the reason given by the state was that they didn't want to encourage people to stay there...when they were the ones who told the people to come to the Superdome in the first place. Any msm network or paper could have found this information, but they didn't want to. Fox needs to blast this for about 2 more days and the net needs to do its share to let the people know just who was responsible for the suffering at those terrible places.
Yes it was the state homeland security person, not federal
It appears this was a clintonian effort to "get in front of a story". That old trick doesn't work anymore.

Mark Levin is talking about this now! Woot!!
They *can't*!
We control the House
We control the Senate
Dems *can't* start any investigation that
Republicans don't approve of. >B-)
That's *one( bit of their treachery we can

Mike Brown that has been INDICTED in Loisiana is Campbell Brown's FATHER???? OMG!!
"The office of Emergency Preparedness and the city decided that the Dome would not be operated as a shelter," he said. "That means we are not equipped as one."
States having their own Homeland Security department is what is confusing people. They believe it's Bush's people that screwed up. That's what the democrats are counting on....stupid Americans.
What was girlie-man david Gregory on? What show? He's an evil twit. Is that girl with the last name of Gregory related to the girlie-man?

Furthermore, policies are not laws, they can be followed or not as the situation dictates.

This mornings Whitehouse Press Conference.
Don't forget that Blank-o thought the offer was "Too complex" for her!!!!! Hey Louisianaians.....get a COMPETENT Governor!
At the suggestion of writer Michelle Malkin last Friday, I have cobbled together a blogsite called Texas Clearinghouse for Katrina Aid to serve as a clearinghouse for refugee efforts in Texas.
Texas is getting more refugees than any other state -- that's fine, we'll take them all -- but we need help providing them with food, clothing, and shelter.
If you are a refugee, you can information that will help you find relief. If you want to donate or volunteer, you can find someone who needs you.
Right now the site mostly covers Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas but I will add various churches, schools, and other charities in Lubbock and Austin tonight. My wife was down at Reunion Arena in Dallas yesterday handing out care packages and spiritually ministering to the refugees as a representative of her employer. She says that the situation is tragic and that there's a lot of work to be done. There are so many children who don't know where their parents are or even if their parents are still alive.
There are a lot of churches and other organizations in Texas that need help in dealing with the problem and I would appreciate it if you would get the word out.
Many thanks,
Michael McCullough
