To be honest, I haven't been that satisfied with the performance of my truck. It works alright most of the time - but it's all those times when it doesn't work that get to me...
Ford has some design issues that it needs to work out. I say that as an owner.

Compared to GM's or Chryslers the Fords are bullet proof.

Actually, I've got a '98 Ford Explorer that I am quite pleased with. It's been a very reliable vehicle so far.
Other than the Mustangs, the Rangers and the F-series trucks, the rest of Ford's line-up really sucks.

This vehicle has exceeded my original expectations in every way.

I have a 2001 F250 SD XLT exteded cab w/ a 6.8 ltr Triton V10.
I have to admit, it is by far the most favorite vehicle of all I've ever owned.
Up until I got this truck my favorite was a 73 Challenger I sold off back in 87. MOPAR!!!

We have always had GMCs or Chevys until I got my 2001 Ford. I have never had a problem with it. I think the seats are uncomfortable but no mechanical problems whatsoever and it was bought as Salvage which means it was totalled at some point.

Well, I guess there's something to be said for the belt & suspenders approach.
