Hello freepers. This is a message from John Dunns(mustang) son Matthew, I'm sorry to inform all of you who knew him that he has passed away.He passed away on friday night of a massive heart attack. He would want you all to know. He loved this place. His obituary will be on St. Augustine.com (St. Auustine record) on monday. I was waiting for a password but my handle would be sonofMustang, I check this place on a daily basis while at work so I'll post soon.
This is Pat,Mrs. Mustang, Thank You all so much for your prayers and support in our time of need. The funeral was a class act, just like John would have wanted. We had a Mass and then a 21 gun salute and the flag ceremony. It was a beautiful thing. I will keep in touch with you all, thanks again. Pat
May John Rest In Peace. Heaven will be a brighter place.
Take Care and God Bless All
Colleen
Florida FReepers will miss John and his stalwart dedication.
Mustang was always pleasant to be in the presence of.
One of my favorite FReeps with Mustang was in Tallahassee during the recount of 2000.
Florida FReeper FRegards.
Welcome, sonofmustang. Very sorry to hear of Mustang's passing. Please accept my prayers for Mustang and my prayers and condolences for you and your family.
Son of Mustang here on Pops computer again. Just sitting around while gettin' battered up by this tropical Depression.Everyones doin' fine. We really do thank all of you, like my Mom said earlier. Just wanted to say we were talking about that Tallahassee protest in 2000, My now wife and I made those signs for my Mom and Dad. Good times for sure. Things like that made my Dad super happy. He always wanted to be as active as possible. He's probably up in heaven right now chattin' it up with our forefathers. Talk to you guys soon, Keep up the good work. America is a better place for people like you. This place rocks.
I am so sorry to hear this. prayers up for you all.
Sorry for your lose. God be with you all.
I met Mustang at the Impeachment Dinner. He sat with JimRob and I in the bar after the dinner. He was working security at the Impeachment Rally and my wife ran over him to get my daughter to the stage to sing. He got a big kick out of that. He was a great guy and will be missed.
I am so sorry to hear of this. Your dad was a great guy. Please accept our profound condolences.
Prayers to you and your family.
