Prayers sent for Chief Justice Rehnquist. A fine man, with a brilliant mind. Any replacement less than Scalia will be pure politics.

CNN dropping their coverage of Katrina like a hot potato.
Screw all those poor suffering African-Americans; loss of control of the levers of justice to enact their Marxist agenda is FAR more important to CNN.

..Schumer's head will explode....
not to worry....nothing will fall out Not only that, since his head's up his a** most of the time, bystanders won't be hurt by debris.

Chief Justice passes.....
"This is going to get interesting! Schumer may have a heart attack!"Every cloud has a silver lining.

They also said the court ruled 5 - 4 for President Bush in the Bush v. Gore case. Is that correct??? No. There were two decisions. The main decision was decided 7-2. The second decision, on potential remedy, was decided on a 5-4 vote.

She was also bashing bush saying he has been weakened with his response to Katrina which will weaken him in his ability to nominate to SCOTUS. What hogwash!

The RATS will call for postponing SCOTUS hearings in light of Katrina. Anything to keep conservatives off the court. Especially since there are now only seven Justices and four make a majority - Souter, Stevens, Breyer, Ginsberg. The 'Rats will go into full delay mode -- including possible permanent filibusters.

My deepest condolences go out to the Rehnquist family.
Appointing JRB or some other like-minded jurist would go a long way in nuking the left's ability to legislate from the bench. Bring it on!

God sure does. I cannot help but think the Chief Justice is looking down and chuckling about the liberals about to implode.
From all accounts Roberts was going to be the first nominee from the President and you can bet he already has decided on the Chief Justice and then that person's replacement on the Court. Three hearings and the RATs will implode!
