TAMPA BAY, August 31, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Ten year-old Joshua Heldreth, the eldest of eight children, was arrested on Good Friday of this year for trespassing while attempting to bring a drink of water to Miss Terri Schaivo. Days later Schiavo died of intentional dehydration. In court Joshua pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 25 hours of community service and ordered to write an apology for his actions.
The boy whose arrest photo was splashed on front pages of newspapers across the nation wrote in his apology letter, "I was arrested on Good Friday for trespassing on the hospice center's property . . . Not giving Mrs. Shiavo (sic) food or water was wrong. The reason I had to go on your property was because Jesus would do the same thing. It made me sad that she was so thirsty and it made Jesus sad too. I knew she would die without water and I am called by Jesus to be a defender of the defenceless. So I had to go on your property to try to bring her a drink."
Joshua added, "I am sorry that you didn't like that and wouldn't allow me to help save her life and one day you will have to tell God why. I won't be able to help you then like I tried to help her. I will pray for you every day . . ."
LifeSiteNews.com caught up with Joshua's father Scott Heldreth today. Scott told LifeSiteNews.com he is very proud of his son. "My son has amazed me through this whole thing," said Heldreth. The proud father said it was his son's own initiative to attempt to give the starving woman a glass of water, and despite the warning of his parents that he'd be arrested, the boy insisted. "He was the one who begged us to go down, because he wanted to give her a glass of water . . . We explained that police will never let you help . . . you'll be arrested, but he went anyways."
Pro-life leader Rev. Flip Benham of Operation Save America told LifeSiteNews.com that the whole pro-life movement shares Heldreth's pride in his son. Benham recalls the reaction of Heldreth on Good Friday as he watched his son being arrested: "When that all took place Scott was weeping, this father was weeping tears of joy seeing his son not only talk the Christian talk but walk the walk."
While the apology letter has been submitted, Heldreth told LifeSiteNews.com he's not completely sure it will be accepted.

Those are amazing comparison pics, our young hero versus Sindy Sheman.
That chapter will be written with invisible ink.
I'm curious: Why does this story keep getting bumped to the top? Haven't we had enough of this case by now? Terry is gone. Let's allow the poor woman to rest in peace.

Judge Greer is a Clear Channel shareholder or was, and they are a subsidiary of Viacom and CBS. That's why Glenn Beck never attacked Judge Greer on the airwaves.
Terri's freepers will be here until there is a ban on STATE SPONSORED MURDER, whether it be STATE SPONSORED SPOUSAL MURDER, STATE SPONSORED PARENT OR CHILD MURDER.
Florida is the Starvation State.
Bumping the thread because we are against euthanasia which is ILLEGAL in the United States but loopholes are used to kill innocents.

I am against euthanasia, but it's time to move on. This was one single case that happened to catch the fancy of the media. It isn't a trend. The poor lady is gone, and may she rest in peace. Maybe accepting that what is done is done will help her.
one vulture coming in from the north, passing over and circling the hospice. It gave me chills then. It was near nine o'clock when that happened.
Gave me the chills now. Yes, that last hour ......
How many policemen did it take to arrest him? He looks like a tough one with his Jesus shirt on.
Terri was murdered, and we have not seen justice served. Others continue to be murdered because of their disabilities. Our parents and grandparents thought this issue was resolved when we closed the Nazi death camps. It has not been resolved. The killings continue. I will not accept the extermination of an entire class of people, just because it is happening. The fact that it is happening does not make it right.
Thank you for bumping the thread.
Terri was murdered and the culprits are still free to repeat their crime. Unfortunately, this kind of murder is a trend. The murder of Terri wasn't even euthanasia. No one was putting her out of misery. It was cold-blooded murder, pure and simple (perhaps with the intention of some to further their death culture agenda; but, straight up murder, nonetheless).
Terri wanted to live! However, her public torture has opened many eyes and given many of us a voice in which to remind others of the inherent value of all human life. There are still so many people out there that are quick to judge the value of someone else's life. They think they wouldn't have wanted to live in Terri's condition and thus judge that murdering her was acceptable. They call her a "poor lady" without even understanding the judgement it entails.
We will never forget Terri's brutal murder and unless something is done to prevent the same to others, we will never "move on." What "is done" is not and will never be acceptable. Terri doesn't need our help now; she's gone. But, her memory lives on.
NO way will ANY of us sit by and let this episode of injustice, this MURDER of an innocent non-terminally ill human being who was LOVED, stand. And hopefully, you will be at our side.
Republic, Do you notice how the Terri Legacy continues at such a tempo six months later? People keep saying moveon, but it continues despite the death cult and media fond wishes. We persevere.

Yes we do. Please help me on the Schindler book thread. Terri's trashers abound.
They are like Satan's minions. Always prowling around looking for something to devour.
It is creepy. And so disappointing to realize that fellow FReepers ( even if it is just a few ) buy into that monster. Something is way off in their hearts and minds.
Creepy and disturbing to say the least! Hard for me to believe that they're actually FReepers. Perhaps this is just one more way that God is separating the grain from the chaff.
